Highest-Rated Fitness Franchises in Australia
An independent, data-driven look at how Australia's fitness franchises actually perform with their members — ranked by Google's per-location average rating, with consistency, network size and review volume in plain view.
The Leaderboard
Sorted by Google average rating — the mean of every studio's lifetime star rating. Brands need ≥5 rated studios and ≥100 total reviews to qualify.
How we rank
Google average rating
The mean of each location's lifetime Google rating across a brand's network. Treats every studio as one vote — big networks don't drown out small ones.
Review volume
Total Google reviews across the network, plus a reviews-per-location read so a single busy flagship can't carry the headline number.
Minimum thresholds
A brand needs at least 5 rated Australian studios and 100 total Google reviews to qualify — enough sample to compare fairly without one flagship studio carrying the score.
Category confidence
Each brand is auto-classified into a fitness sub-category (pilates, CrossFit, boxing, yoga...) with a confidence score; low-confidence rows are flagged.
Continuously refreshed
Classification is mid-rollout across ~2,000 franchise brands. We re-pull the leaderboard weekly so new brands appear as they're tagged.
